We disembarked the ship this morning and except for the ordeal of waiting to identify our luggage, it went very smoothly. Since GCT has 318 or so people on this trip, we had a lot of buses to load and luggage to deal with. We are staying in a nice hotel in Barcelona and are enjoying the free wifi. We piled onto buses at the dock and went on a city tour which was very interesting. Barcelona is a beautiful city and the weather today is perfect. We saw all the important areas and places. When we stopped for lunch at the Olympic area, I heard parakeets or parrots flying overhead. Sure enough, there was a big flock of them eating the berries in the trees. I was able to get some good shots of them which I will post when I download them. Tomorrow is a free day to do what we want. Jim is down at the train station now exploring our options. There are some optional tours offered, but the one we'd like to do also spends time at a winery and since that does not interest us, we are trying to figure what we can do on our own.
I still feel the world is rocking a bit and think it will take several days for that feeling to go away. There were sevcral times that we were rocked to sleep at night with rough seas, despite the stablizers! Fortunately, it seems we left the rainy cold weather behind us.
