On to Warsaw

This will be short because we are tired and need to get on down to breakfast.  We had a long day yesterday with the train ride to Warsaw after our city tour of Berlin.  Our group is an interesting one and let's just say our guide has his hands full.  There are a couple of guys who can't understand directions and who were consistently late so should be interesting. We enjoyed the train ride.  It was rather stressful getting on the train but we all made it and we were in a compartment with one other GCT man and a Polish lady who spoke no English but we tried to communicate.  It was very interesting and our little room was comfortable and we enjoyed the train travel very much. However, the bus was not there to meet us, and neither were the porters so our poor PD and bus driver had to do all the luggage for 40 people themselves and it was not easy. The bus finally came after about 3 phone calls and a half hour of us standing in the cold, damp night at 11 pm.  We got to the hotel about midnight and so it was a long day, but like I said, interesting and fun.  We were not that impressed with our program director (PD) but after that day, we were all cheering him on and felt so sorry for him! The Polish countryside is beautiful and we did so enjoy the train ride.  Will try to fill in details more later.
