Update Monday AM

Ok, it was the Temple of Dawn that we visited yesterday and climbed all the steps (and now have sore legs to prove it!). It was really pretty and ornate. And the two fruits that I could not remember were Mangosteen which is a dark purple peeled fruit with white fruit inside. And the other one is rambutan which looks a lot like a litchi but it has a red spiky skin that you split and peel. I wanted to put this in while I found the fruit list that told about them. They were both very good. Dad and Megan were not too thrilled with the food either, but Megan liked several of the things that the lady fixed. Eleanore is enjoying the new dishes! Our trip leader is doing a great job of having them serve me something without the garlic, etc but almost everything they have has garlic, scallions, or some form of onions. We brought a sack full of peanut butter and crackers and granola bars so I surely will not suffer, but it is actually much harder than China was. I enjoyed the China food but grew tired of it after two weeks. But except for the fruit and ice cream for dessert, there seems to be limited stuff I will be able to eat and enjoy. But I didn't come here for the food so that is fine. Things are generally very cheap. Cokes and snacks at the 7-11 are much cheaper than at home. But other things like this internet are pretty pricey. I don't think we will have internet at the next couple of hotels so I'm not sure after tonight when we will be able to update again but will just be ready to post when we do hit one as I know from looking before we came, that the majority do have internet.
