Thailand Trip

We leave on Friday morning early for Thailand! Megan is going with us and we are all very excited about it. Her friend Eleanore Vaughan is also going with us. This trip is with OAT, the small group division of Grand Circle that we usually travel with and there are only 16 people in our group. I think if we can survive the LONG plane flight, we will have a terrific time! We fly from Atlanta to Minneapolis. Then we fly from Minneapolis to San Francisco where we get on THE longest plane flight ever! It is 20 hours from San Francisco to Bangkok. It says there is one technical stop which we assume may be in Tokyo for refueling. I hope we can get off and stretch our legs at that point, but as someone said, we may not be able to convince ourselves to get back on if we do that! That plane flight is 20 hours...yes, you read that right. 20 hours. I can't imagine. And no, we are not going business class or any other such nice way. We are taking the laptop and hope to blog along on the trip, so we'd love to have you follow along on our journey!

Have fun Mom and Dad (Meg and friend too). We will be praying for you on the long flight. Say hello to the Burmese relief effort in Bangcock.

Hope you have survived that long flight. We have been thinking about you. We are back from Chicago. Joey is so cute. I just love him to pieces!
