Oh my gosh! What an adventure you are on. I wish I was there with you! However, I think I would have had to come down those temple steps on my rear end. I actually like Thai food - but I know what you mean about the garlic, shallots and curry. Interesting once a month, but not everyday. I can't imagine all of the wonders you will see.
