Cuzco

Well we flew this AM to Cuzco and we really like it. The altitude is very high and so far we are doing ok. They served us coco tea when we arrived but with backpack on my back and dragging our carryon, I was huffing and puffing going to the bus. There are 12 of us on this extension and it is a congenial group. Our guide is named Freddie and he is very good. Today we went to a convent here and toured the main plaza and got a general feel for the town. The plane flight in was interesting as it came down between tall mountains. We ate lunch at a restaurant overlooking the plaza square here and that was nice. I had trouble last night getting any photos to upload so hope I can tonight. Don't have great ones yet but we are having a good time.

We stay in Cuzco and tour more Inca ruins tomorrow and then the next day we head to Machu Picchu.
