We had lunch at a nice restaurant. This is such a congenial group to eat with and the meals are all pretty standard with the lazy susan in the middle and they keep bringing out dishes and more dishes,etc. I enjoyed the Crispy Rice which was their specialty but that and the steamed cabbage the most. Here they serve you a drink that is about orange juice size glass and that is all you get unless you pay for more. And water is not drinkable unless it is bottled so we have to pay no matter whether it is water or a Coke. But things are pretty cheap so it is not really a problem-just one of those differences. Some days I am good with chopsticks and some days I am still struggling. I'm not sure how they keep from having arthritis in their fingers when they get to our age!
Well, we are off to the Beijing opera and meal beforehand. It has been a really good day.
